Pippin The Paper Dragon

There once was a little dragon named Pippin.
And like all good dragons, Pippin loved treasure
But while other dragons dreamed of gold and shiny coins,
Pippin discovered something far more precious... books!

Pippin travelled far and wide, over winding paths, through enchanted
forests and ancient cities, collecting stories wherever he went. Tales of
brave adventurers, curious creatures, distant kingdoms, and journeys
that began with nothing more than a knock at the door.

His hoard grew and grew until books filled every cosy corner of his cave.
There were books beside his bed, books beneath his chair and piles almost as high as his wings. There was hardly room left for a dragon!

But Pippin didn't mind.
To him, every book was treasure — and every story was another adventure
waiting to be discovered.
His love of books soon became known far and wide.
And so, the little dragon who guarded a hoard of stories was given a very
special name...

Pippin, the Paper Dragon
These days, Pippin can usually be found curled up on his favourite books,
fast asleep after a long night of reading.
If you listen very carefully, when the library is quiet and the pages are
turning... you might just hear a little dragon snoring happily on his book hoard.
Perhaps he's dreaming of his next adventure...
"Every book is a doorway And Every story is a treasure"
